Candy Grams at Shows
Usually you'll find a table set up for "Candy Grams" in the concession area at the school hosting the band show. They will provide lunch size bags, sticker tags, markers, and an assortment of candy to purchase. The cost for this is usually minimal around a $1 or so. Pick out your child's favorite candy, write your child's name, school name, add a loving note, or good luck wish on the sticker tag, sign it, and the hosting band will take it from there. If you know your child's bus number please include that on the tag, too. (That's to help out our chaperones) The candy grams are then boxed and delivered to the Penn Trafford chaperones once the band has finished playing. The chaperones will then divide them up between the buses and they are passed out to your child after they are out of uniform. The kids really love this. It's a great way to show how much you support them and they get to enjoy the snack on the way home.
